The China cone crusher is a machine used forr breaking the big rocks into the minor rocks, gravels or rock dusts. It is widely used for medium and fine crushing all kinds of rocks with pressure under 350MPa in mining, cement industries, sand industries and other areas. When the cone crusher is working, the engine rotates around a fixed point through the belt wheel or the coupling, meanwhile the transmission shaft and the conical part of the cone crusher are taken under the force of the eccentric bushing, which makes the crushing wall close to the pierced mortar wall at intervals. Then, the ores will be impacted, squeezed and bent constantly in the crushing chamber, resulting in the crushing of the ores.
The spring safety system of Symons cone crusher can achieve insurance when the uncrushed materials get into the crushing cavity or when the machine is overloaded for other reasons. The uncrushed materials will be discharged through the enlarged port to get out of the crushing cavity. Due to the work of the springs, the discharging port will be replaced, which makes the rock cone crusher work normally again.
The secondary cone crusher has the features of easy operation and repair, adjustment convenience of the discharging port, change facility of the scale board and so on.
The design process of cone crusher has always been slow, which has lasted for almost 60 years. Some reliable productions have been used for reference in the basic design of cone crushers. The greatest changing lies in the improvement of rotating speed. For example, a 48-inch (120 cm) Cone Crusher in 1960 can produce 170 tons of gravels per hour, while the cone crusher with the same size today can produce 300 tons per hour.
The improvements come from the enhancement of speed, as well as some better design of crushing cavity. Another great development of cone crusher exists in the application of hydraulic techniques, which can prevent the uncrushed materials from getting into the crushing cavity. The uncrushed materials such as steel can cause great damage and more cost to the crusher when getting into the cavity. The development of hydraulic cone crusher reduces much downward time and prolongs the life of these machines.
